Legislative Action Committee
The Legislative Action Committee focuses on the local and state level regarding legislative policies that affect public education
City's Legislative Action Committee meets monthly to work on issues pertaining to legislative policy or other actions that affect public education. Our goal is to analyze, summarize and disburse information to the population at City as well as participate county-wide and on the state level in communication with our legislators.
We work with the Kent ISD's Grassroots Legistlative Initiative. KISD's mission is to strengthen communities by providing leadership for learning through innovative partnerships, technology, training, professional development, and research.
