Calvin College will be hosting special Science and Engineering Visit
Days to allow high school juniors and seniors to further explore their
interest in the sciences, math, and engineering.
-Health and Environmental Sciences Day - March 5, 2010
-Computing, Engineering, Math and Physics Day - March 12, 2010

Admission to Calvin College's Nursing Program
-New students are eligible for early admission to Calvin's nursing
program if they meet the criteria of an ACT composite score of 28 or
higher, or an SAT math plus critical reading score of 1260 or higher
Students who do not meet the early admission requirements follow a
more traditional route, which involves applying to the program during
January of their sophomore year

Michigan Blood Scholarship 2010
-Student Eligibility: student must be planning to enroll in a course
of study at a college or technical school, submit along with the
application form a 250 word essay on why people should donate blood,
agree to permit Michigan Blood to publish their essays and use their
names and photographs if they win the scholarship. Deadline is March
1, 2010
-School Eligibility: high school must hold two or more separate blood
drives with michigan Blood during the 2009-2010 school year, and sign
in a total of 60 or more prospective donors over the course of the
year, with a minimum sign-in of 20 people at each blood drive

ArtWorks! Seminar Series
- March 15 - April 29, Thursdays from 4-6pm, FREE to accepted students
-The series includes films, hands-on activities, and workshops run by
contemporary artists and local businesses. Successful completion of
the program makes students eligible to be part of the ArtWorks!
Advisory Teams and other exciting opportunities.
-Limited to ages 14-19
-Applications Due by February 15

Science, Technology, and Engineering Preview Summer Camp (STEPS)
- STEPS is a one-week day camp which introduces girls to the world of
science, technology, and engineering
-Participants must be between the ages of 11-13, and entering 7th
grade Fall 2010
-Applications must be received no later than March 15, 2010

CMU's Leadership Camp
- 3 day program for prospective CMU freshmen that are interested in
exploring leadership in a fun and interactive way
