COUNT DAY THURSDAY 2/11
Dear GRPS Students, Parents, Staff and Supporters:
As a result of the snow day today and in accordance with the state rules, the "new" Count Day is tomorrow/Thursday, February 11.
We are asking all of you to please
help spread the word and inform students, parents and neighbors about the change in the Count Day date and the importance of attendance EVERY DAY - particularly on Count Day tomorrow.
As you know, GRPS had the best Count Day of the decade last September.
We need a repeat! The total student count/attendance on Count Day is what determines the level of funding we received from the state to educate the children we are fortunate to serve. Given these economic times, we need a strong Count Day now more than ever.
