Summer Therapy Aide for Summer Therapy and Fun Program You will have the chance to work with our therapists as together we teach children with disabilities to walk, talk, learn and play. You will join us every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 8am to noon from late-June through early August 2007. Big Brothers Big Sisters School-Based Mentoring Program The Big Brothers Big Sisters School-Based Mentoring Program serves children between the ages of 5 and 15 who are currently attending school. 4-H Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program Needs Volunteers No horse experience necessary! The Kent Special Riding Program (KSRP) is a non-profit organization affiliated with Kent County 4-H. KSRP provides high-quality therapeutic and recreational horseback riding instruction to physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals in Kent and surrounding counties. 616-336-3265
Reach out and Read to kids in a pediatric office waiting room We need individuals to read to children of all ages in the pediatric office waiting room for two-hour shifts once a week. The goal of promoting early literacy and a love of books is supported by volunteers who interact with children and model good reading techniques for parents in the waiting room setting. 616-776-2132
